The Escort 8500 has saved me around 8 tickets in the past 2 years.

 

Valentine 1 rocks. It's saved me many times in the past. I like the directional feature... with V1 you know what direction you are being ping'd from.

I like the ones that mount on the front and back of the car.

anyone mounted their v1 to a c6? with direct power? where did you access power?

 

NONE! You shouldn't need them. If you need them you're probably going too fast.

 

Only have had one detector, that was in the mid-Eighties when I was driving 2100 miles a week. It was a K-40, same maker as the K-40 CB antenna and radio. It was great equipment- don't know if they still make anything. I've outgrown the need to hide from law enforcement.
