Winter Storage

Winter Storage
I live in Wisconsin and, I'm storing my 2007 Corvette coup for the winter. Which will only be for about four months. I'll be topping off the gas tank and starting the car once a month and letting it run for about 20 minutes. Will this be enough? Or should other measures be taken while my vette sits in my garage? Thanks for any suggestions.

RE: Winter Storage
I attemped the same thing last winter here in pennsylvania. Covered it with a car cover, garage kept, started it faithfully every month and let it run for 15-20 mins. and come feb. it was still dead as a doornail (parked in R every time) ThethingI think I'll do differently this winter is get a trickle charger and leave it on all winter ,still run it from time to time and pray for an early spring.

RE: Winter Storage
Hey blue jet, I live in michigan and have been storing mine for over 20 years. I top off the tank with gas, do a fresh oil change, remove the batery and forget about it until the spring. Fires up up first try evry year. The car is not sitting that long to worry about it. Food for thought: There are brand new cars sitting on the car lots that sit for longer than that without being started. Good luck and HURRY SPRING!!!!
