Default C6 Z06 in the air?

I need to be able to swap tires on my Z06 and was told that you should not put the Vette on blocks even if they are put on the right points. Does anyone know if this is okay or not? I will need to swap tires and possbile have it on blocks for 1-2 weeks at a time doing vairous other things. Someone told me that I needed a lift if I did not want to harm anything.

Yuu can buy lifting pucks several places (Ecklers for one, you'll need four, they look just like hockey pucks and are made of hard rubber and have a small tab to fit into the jacking hole), that fit into the jacking points on the car. It is then safe to leave the car up on these.
