That would probably convert to about 450-455 corrected SAE depending on the humidity. That's about right for 505 rated flywheel HP, I guess (C5s and C6s M6s generally lose about 10-11% is all), but I had hoped it would be more.
For comparison, the C5R 427 I had built by Charlie Hempfield for my C5 (basically the same engine with a few minor differences: slightly smaller valves but with all the head work done, better ports, and 10% lower compression (10.25:1) so it could be supercharged later on) made 485 RWHP with 600 miles on it, full exhaust including cats, but running a very mild cam -- but remember it had really good Kooks headers which are good for about 30-35 RWHP. I later changed to a slightly more aggressive lift cam and it made 507 still with a mild idle and great street manners. I bought and extreme N.A. cam from MTI but never put it it, since the SC went on long before that.
I imagine with just good headers and a good cam this would make about 520-540 RWHP depending on the cam. My engine has a wet sump which has to rob it of at least 10 HP.
