Drop outs if price is to high
I hope GM reads this because they could have another rerun like they did with the 1990 ZR1 when it came out. I and four of my friends are on the waiting list to make our orders but if the price is over mid-$60's we are walking. We only want these cars for the LS7 other then that there isn't any interest on our part. Just my opinion but GM KEEP THE PRICE DOWN you need to sell cars.

i agree with you...but considering the meticulous care that has been taken with things like the engine cradle and so forth....i really am interested to see if they make another ZR1 mistake on pricing.

I'm with you both, I hope that GM doesn't punt this one. I really like the upgrades of the ZO6. My buddy has a ZR-1, and while it is a very nice vehicle, it was not worth the difference in the prices of the two at the time.

when they first came out, i had a neighbor who had one, and it was awesome. i often admired it and his dark green ZR1 was one of the reason that i got one. i was determined to find myself a ZR1 someday, and who knows, i still may. but i really like mine, although the new one makes me drool a bit.

I agree but it is going to eat a Viper for lunch and is still 12k less. If Dodge can get it they will too.... ive heard 70's just pony it up boys..... Lease it.... Run the dog **** outta it and get a new one in 3yrs....... LOL

I would hope it eats the Viper up, considering the weight difference and class-difference. The difference is, when the C6 Z06 does come out, you will see them everywhere just like you do all the other vettes, and the one or two times you spot a Viper every year, you will go "look a Viper" and stare at it until it's out of your view.
