thats smart waiting a few years....

Sadly I bought a new 05 right when they came I lost my roof 3 times to the delam issue, the Z51 brake squeal, dough boy steering wheel, A4 instead of an A6.

I am not saying *I hate my car* and it isnt even a big deal that its a 6.0 and not a 6.2. Just a few things that I really wish I had on my car that every other C6 had stock. I really wish I had a A6 instead of just a 4 speed.

So I will wait a year or two after the release, just to make sure that some items are ironed out before buying my next new corvette.

That delam issue with my roof really put a sore taste in my mouth, it pops still and creeks and squeeks and really makes the drive unbearable.

The corvette is still and has always been my dream car, im just going to be more careful next time I make a purchase and I do enjoy being the first owner. I know the car in and out and i know how it was treated since day one.

I generally agree re: not buying first model year vehicles but had good luck w/ my '68 GTO and '02 TrailBlazer.

Even my '07 Tahoe was not too bad but traded it before some of the problems started showing up in others.
