Old Timers on C2s
Looking to find out if St. Louis factory was open during Christmas Holidays in 1963.
My car was produced on 30 December 1963--engine F1230RF (could be RD )---- number 4108538 and matches the frame.
Car was shipped to New York on 1/8/1964.
NCRS has no record as "all the records from the St. Louis Assembly Plant were destroyed in a fire before they get moved to Bowling Green or Detroit."
I have been told that during the Holidays in 1963, a limited number of employees were asked to come to work to clear inventory for the new tax year.
Appreciate any insight.
