I have a 1999 C5. My problem is: When I press the A/C button it fashes a few times then goes out. The A/C clutch does not engage and none of the cooling fans come on at all even with the A/C off. The blower for the A/C does come on but obviously blows hot air. I have checked all of the fuses and replaced all of the relays. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jim

 

so your cooling fans dont work at all??

 

I would need a little more information to narrow it down, but one possible explination is that it is low on r134 or the ac pressure switch is faulty, if it doesent detect enough freon pressure it wont turn on, another would be ECC ( electronic climate control) head unit, those are the only big easy to check items i can think of right now, but i could be dozens of other things as well, please expand upon you symptoms, be descriptive and explain exactly whay it can and cannot do.
