To each his own,I guess? I have had nothing but problems trying to use Autolites or Champions in my Chevys, never had troubles with the AC's As far as the plugs from that other country,I use lots of them in my bikes, but they either come from,or were designed by the folks in the other country.
OK,I'm ducking!
Yes,you are lucky! Noises from the back of the motor almost never turn out well.

Hey guys,
I really appreciate your input.
You saved my a** a few times over the years.
I really thought my engine was toast this time.

My Vet is cursed!

Got it back and it was running fine.
All of a sudden the rattle came back stronger then ever.
So now I know it is not the clutch fan or the plugs.
It doesn't start untill you drive around awhile and the engine warms up real good.
Now I am thinking it's my clutch.

Stayed tunned.

Schoon,
Does the noise change if you depress your clutch? Could be throwout bearing.

No change in the noise if I push the clutch in or put the trans in neutral.
Noise changes if the RPM goes up.

Going to take off the dust cover on the bell housing to look around.
I might have a bad flywheel or toasted clutch, who knows?

Stay tuned.

A good piece of vacuum hose or a screw driver can make a quick stethoscope.
