Default rough idle

It seems to me that the idle is a little rough. It idles at about 700 800 rpm. There is no power loss and no indicator lights come on.

Check the injectors out. Might need cleaning.

In my 2008 C6 Base, I simply replaced the corroded battery cables. You would not believe how much this has helped!!

No rough idle.. No more digital messages popping up (Service Active Handling, Service Anti-Lock Brake System, etc... )

Gas pedal response now instant and solid...

I know you've heard about the importance of having clean, solid grounds for all the electronic circuits. I guess the same thing holds true for the other side (Positive) of the circuit.

Just something to check...

Default C7 rough idle

I just purchased a C7 Grand Sport. It has less than 400 miles and runs a little rough at idle. I would not expect the stock cam to cause a rough idle. Is this normal for the C7?

Welcome to the forum. Why don't you take it to the dealer as it sounds like it would still be under warranty?

Thanks. I will ask the dealer when I bring it in for it’s 500 mile oil change.
