92 C4 Possessed...Neighbors not happy
The Security Alarm has been malfunctioning
at night. Last night, I though someone was breaking-in
but tonight at the perfect time of mid-night, it happened
twice. I usually use the automatic door locks, but on the
second sounding I unlocked both doors and am currently
in a holding pattern ready to dart out the door.
Any takers on this one.
Thanks

Hmmmm.... on some alarm systems the 'settling' of the exhaust will set them off, I did have an alarm that would do that(because of the 'settling' of the exhaust). The next step was for me to turn down the sensitivity, I did this myself but you may not feel comfortable with doing that, you can have a local sound system turn down the sensitivity for you.

I have a '92 as well and my factory alarm "falses" whenever the temperature drops. The culprit is my drivers door pin switch. You may want to check the driver and passenger door switches.

I agree, the door pin switches are the likely culprit. Do either of your doors tend to either cancel the retained accessory power before opening the door, or do the courtesy lights come on without opening the door, or do the lights NOT come on when either door is opened? that is the probable problem side.

One of my oldie favorites was Tom Petty - Don't come around here no more
1) Go to the local county animal shelter, and check out a hav 'a' hart cage.
2) On the way home, pick up a can of star-kistkitty bait.
3) Tomorrow mornin', get up early in time to stop by the animal shelter on the way to work, and drop off fluffy and the trap.
4) Tomorrow night, you and the neighbors sleep well.
They don't spray MY rims anymore. (and the ones without a collarain't at the animal shelter either...)
