Hey guys when i turn my 94 ignuition switch off it sometimes does not go all the way to the off position--I CANNT REMOVE THE KEY! Whats Wrong? It does not do it all the time and if you keep cycling the key on-off it will work .
The car is an auto trans if that helps, also i have tried both keys --same deal. Help Greg

 

next time it happens, try and putting it back in drive, then back into park. When I had my 94 it did the same thing, I guess it didnt know it was it park. My 74 had that problem too, it was the nuetrel safty switch.

 

hey greg try puting some grafite in the the switch and work it a few time do not put any sray lub in it hope this helps Johnny

 

The wafers in the switch might be damaged. Might have to get tumbler out and get the wafers replaced. [8D]
