c5 drivers side mirror

Default c5 drivers side mirror
The nut holding the driver's side mirror spring snug has vibrated off. And the mirror now just sits in place.
Any special tricks or tools needed to to re thread it back in place. I'm assuming I will need to remove the entire mirror shell.
