Default which GM manual?

ORIGINAL: Notorious

Keep an eye on eBay and on any forums dedicated to Corvettes. Generally the two book set can be had for $50-75 used. They're still available new too for a hundred plus. They're a necessity IMO for anyone who plans to do much work on their car themselves. They can easily pay for themselves in one repair. Make sure they're the red cover manuals published by Helms. These are the full and authorized factory GM manuals.
I've seen the two-book red set (for my '94), and the single volume white covered edition (preliminary ed.?).

Anybody seen both of 'em to compare which one is better?

I saw some digital manuals available there. One buyer's feedback for the software seemed to refer to Windows OS compatibility problems.

Are you on Windows OS SDZ? Copy your stuff to your local [C:\] drive, and sell me the CD. How much material is actually on the disc? (Not total disc size, but how much material on disc???) Start/my computer/rt click CD Rom drive/properties... (with disc in the drive, of course).

I am running XP Pro. Absolutely NO compatibility issues. I have "helped" out others with a copy.

pm me so I don't **** anyone off for a copy

FSM and Parts Catalogue are both in PDF. Adobe is included. Don't recall if it is the most recent.

Easy enough to download and install

Anyways, the FSM is about 900 pages. Parts is about 3,000 pages.

File info: FSM is 19.5 MB Parts is 189 MB Adobe is 536K

I just burn 'em and mail 'em[8D]

Like I said, pm me for more info[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
