Taillights

Default Taillights

Having trouble reaching the driver side tail light to replace it.Is there a trick?Do you have to turn it to get it out?How do you replace the taillight bulb?Car is a 89 corvette?Help?Thanks Steve

I have to replace one in my 85. I'm at work now so I can't go do it but I'll check my manual tonight and do it and then I can tell you how to do it. Sorry, I forgot to investigate that yesterday when I got home.

I found the easiest way is to remove tire and wheel house, which is pretty easy. Matter of fact, you don't have to remove wheel house all of the way. Still, you can also take the rear fuel door inner boot out and might be able to reach it that way. The rubber boot around the fuel neck comes out with a little wrangling. [&:]
