first off...i don't own a corvette....however i am a huge chevy guy. i know this palce can answer my questions. i have a 93 z28 i am looking into converting to a targa top. i have all the resources to do it....my only question is......guys who have targa tops on their vettes....how much of a hassle are they as fas as leaking or anything?

 

I suppose it depends on the condition of the weather stipping, but the one on my '87 doesn't leak a drop. compared to the "t" tops on my brother-in-laws '74....they leak like crazy.

 

The top on my '98 leaks, but I have no idea what the previous owner did to it. It could have been dropped or anything.

 

MINE DOES NOT LEAK.ALTHOUGH I CHANGED ALL THE WEATHER STRIPING TO.BUT IF YOU DO DO IT YOU WILL LOVE IT ON COOL NIGHTS,GOOD LUCK
