Default What should I look for? newbie looking for some help

Good Morning

I'm about take take the plunge and buy a 2000 C5 Coupe 60,000 miles and carrying a full load of available options as a summer toy.

I'm in ontario Canada so this car would arrive home this week and i'll be staring at it in the garage until spring.

I've gone over the car and driven it and all "appears" to be in good shape.

What are the weak points on this car? Are there things that I should check that may not be obvious?

I have not had a compression test done, the car has a custom Cat back and K & N CAI and pulls like like a train.

I did notice that the rear end seemed to wander a bit over a washboard type of surface. Is this normal or a sign of worn shocks?

any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Digger

Hey Digger,
Welcome to CF and the family of Vette owners.
Sounds like you need to check out the rear suspension bushings.
