Bucketlist-- Corvette--CHECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Howdy All; After a test ride in a 1962, black/black, for $2500.00 in around 1965 and my Mom wouldn't sign for me I have always wanted a Vette.I had a '66 GTO in '66 3-2's, 4 speed, a coupe '56 Chevys, here at last at 64 Y.O I now have one. it's a 1988, bright Red, 48,000 miles, auto, with stock rims that were chromed at one time, black interior. It sat in my sisters garage for the last 15 years with 9,000 miles put on it. The tires were new but rotten and I put on Nexen N300, a new battery and will replace a let go headliner soon. Otherwise it's in perfect shape for $8400.00, sweet!!!!!!!! I was looking at this site for advice before I purchashed and the info was very helpful in making the plunge, after 3 days of ownership I am sooooooooo glad I did. I look forward to more learning and enjoying the ride, HappyDaze!!

Thanks Starship; I also ride, 2003 FLHTC 65,000 miles and have a '06 Silverado, didn't make Street Vibes this year though due to the loss of a couple riding buddies over the last couple years and things are not the same anymore. I'm getting some Flowmasters series 50 put on tomorrow and am enjoying the new Vette very much. Thanks again for the reply, Happy

I have a similar story,...
Our car was in the shop so our neighbor loaned his brand new 1958 Vette to my Mom.
As we pulled out onto the main highway Mom ran 'er through the gears.
I tell ya what, I got pushed back in the seat with every gear change and I think my smile wrapped clear around my head. LOL
That was the defining moment. I was only 6 back then, now I'm 60. Had my own Vette for 7 yrs now and it's still a treat to drive.
I've had a '70 RR w/440 6 pack (that was one bad ***** ), and later on a '70 Heavy Chevy, SS 454 Chevelle ( also a mean ride ). BUT, they don't hold a candle against the overall performance of the "Starship".
Don't forget the "Wave".
