new to the area-now the problem- '93 6 speed -motor rebult 1 year ago - new everything -including opti-car ran great but would rattle(detonate)a little when starting but once started ran great ...wanted to stop the rattle andturn fans on earlier so i sent the chip for a re-burn -borrowed a spare chip so i could drive the car -week later -reinstalled the 'new' chip- ran great for around 500 miles -now this may be a coincidence but - the car stalled at a lite as the fans came on - car restarted but took a longer spin cycle then usual andcheck engine (code 36) - at this point i've replaced the opti- the harness from the opti to the computer (was chaffed) and tested the ecm with a new one with the same results - sometimes the car starts right up and runs fine for a few hrs. then feels as if the key was turned on-n-off -throws a code 36 and the fans come on ..hard to start -but does start - tack does move when cranking -it may start and run fine again but will eventually stumble and check engine lite comes on and the cycle starts all over again -i'm ready to sell it so any help would be great ..thanks
