Default Considering C1 or C2

Hello all, I am a new member and prior Corvette owner, about a dozen in my life as early as a 1969 vert and as new as a 1998 recently sold... loved them all (even the 84s ;-) sold the recent C5 for a Tahoe purchase, my wife was driving the C5 but we wanted a Tahoe for hauling as I have a Harley and a Gen 1 Viper that I show, we will be purchasing another C5 for her again... I am now considering selling the Viper and purchasing either a late C1 or C2 Corvette, looking more on the entry level side, small block, 4 speed, doesn't need to be 100% original but a nice driver with intentions of body on resto down the road... still want it to look good now, any advice/thoughts in either C1 or C2, I know Im not going to have "Viper" performance but in the toying with the decision now, last show for the Viper this Saturday then deciding on pulling the trigger, thanks in advance

welcome to the forum. Sounds like you know your way around the vette and should know what to look for. Good luck in your search and keep us informed.
