Hello, First time vette owner here. I sold off a 1987 Porsche 924S to get my vette. I have always been a car guy, working on racecars and owning some kind of vehicle to play with. I have also been into all forms of racing photography even having opportunities to be an on track photographer for some major racing series. I am a Millwright / maint tech at one of the local steel companies here in Ohio.


Now for the details about the car.
1985 Corvette with 166000 miles.
1992 LT1 with 55000 miles.
Light Bronze ext with Bronze leather int.
4 speed automatic.

Well its been a while, so i'll just add to this.
I finally have my vette road ready for the summer. Since my first post, I had to have the transmission rebuilt, so I upgraded the inside for trouble free fun. I also needed new tires, and just so happened to find a set of BBS style basket weave rims in 16x8.5. They needed a complete restoration, remove dents, weld cracks and true all 4. Then I had to refinish the centers, but have a total of about $500 in the 4 rims. I just had a new set of BFG Comp2 sports put on and were ready to roll. I plan on being around a lot more now that I have everything in working order.
