Hello, I'm a first time vette owner. Originally I was hunting for a 88-93 mustang notchback to tell you the truth but some how I started looking at Vettes in the process. Eventually I came upon a 1991 C4 in descent shape for it's year. I was definitely hooked on the looks of the car, but after driving it I had to get it.

Hey nice vette, I just sold my 97 cobra and bought my first vette in Jan. of this year. Welcome to CF and your car looks good.

 

Thanks, bought it last week. Still got to transfer title tomorrow. I had a blown 2000 mustang GT supercharged(sold) and a 88 mustang chp style coupe(trans got bad - sold). What made you go the Corvette route? I still got love for mustangs but I think the pound for pound the Corvette is just a better all around sports car.

 

Well I hope to learn a lot here. I already have some minor issues I need addressed such as a loose rear view mirror and the horn which isn't working. I'm sure I'll find some old posts that will clear these problems.

That is a extremely clean looking car and the C5 wheels are a nice touch....and by the way I too was a Mustang owner before purchasing the Vette I currently own.
