Default New owner but not sure of my plans now...

Hello, I as of July 2nd, I am the proud owner of my first vette.

I wanted a late C3, preferrably with the following: black on black leather, excellent frame, excellent body, ok interior, don't care about the engine. If you are wondering why I don't care about the engine, it is because I felt like the late C3's didn't have enough power and I was planning on replacing it with at least a 350 hp engine.

What I bought: '82 two tone silver with 29k miles, fair interior, excellent frame, good paint and body, mirrored glass tops, and cloth interior.

Here is my dilemma: The combination of low miles, two tone paint, and cloth interior, seems to be a rare find.

What is this car worth? I paid 10k for it, but if I could sell it for a lot more, with a little work, I could buy something closer to what I really wanted and have the money for the engine and other upgrades. I don't really want to modify something that is close to pure. Please help!

Ihave attached a photo. I can email more, if you want a closer look.

Turn it over for 13 and find something for 9. Ya think?

ORIGINAL: Batmobile

What is this car worth?
Short answer - $10K. June issue of Corvette Magazine's market report says 1982 range from $7.5K to $21.5K with an average regularly street driven one at $12.5K.

Thanks for the response! Even if the car is worth 13k, it is not worth 3k to get rid of it. In the two days I have been driving it, it is already starting to feel like my soul-mate. Plus, having spent eight hours underneath it changing all of the fuilds and doing other maintenance, I now know that it is in really good condition. The piece of mind isworth something.

Thanks again!
