Getting ready for a return to the Vette World
I’ve been away for a while (2016) when I sold my 2005 Corvette. It had over 120,000 miles on it and it was running strong. It took me about 3 months to find my first Vette but it was worth the wait. When I was looking for my first vette I got a lot of good advice from members on the forum. I went against the grain in not to buy the first year (C-6) but I found a good deal and I never regretted it. Two years latter I found out that I had cancer and I started giving up and getting rid of the toys. GOD has been good to me and now I am back in the hunt for 2014-2016 Z51 Sting Ray. I know the 2014 is the first year for C-7 so are there any warning in buying the first year in the body change. My price range is $30,00 to 40,000. I am not afraid of a high mileage vette as long as it has been taken car of. I have been looking on Carvana and they have some nice vette which most of the 2014 averaging around $42,000 and up. My search has begun. Glad to be back. GOD Bless
Welcome to the forum.
I just saw that FWIW, Consumer Reports listed the 2014 as having above average problems. Corvette Magazine reports on each generation about once a year. Pretty informative.
Hope you stay cancer free. I'm at 19 months and counting.
