Default Hello all!!!

Hi there all! We got our first vette (C5 04) in May and absolutely love it!!!! I am in process of detailing it before we store it for the winter. I have a question about waxing. How do you remove excess wax from creases in car and how do you eliminate getting it there? Any help is appreciated!!! Thanks!

Welcome to CF!
When ya do your waxing, if ya take a moistened cotton rag and wipe along the edges where the wax has built up, you can remove the excess.

Welcome to the forum. Yep, it sucks when you get that wax in the spots you don't want to!! As starship said, use a moistened towel.

Hey thanks for the welcome! What a great place to be! I used the tip with the damp towel and it worked in most spots. I was also very careful to not apply the wax directly to those areas. I must say it looks pretty sharp!! How sad to have to put it away though. I thinkwe need to move to Arizona or something just so we can drive our vette all year long!!

Hey vettegirl33 welcome! I use the Turtle Wax Ice. It won't leave that film you are seeing inthose hard to reach places. I knowa fewpeople have not had good luck with it but others have. I get compliments on my paint and wax all the time.
