I just joined and am looking forward to getting to know people with all series of Vettes. I have a 1961, factory 270 HP, Honduras maroon with a white cove. Black inside. Just replaced the dash pad, floor mats and recently put all stainless exhaust system on it. Currently getting ready to pull engine and see what is wrong. Has a slapping sound, my quess is a skirt off of the pistons.
