Default inherited a nonSTARTING 93 will be here alot!!

Hello everyone -I have been elected by family members to get this car running. I will post details in tech forum along with pics soon. Basically I have a couple pin connectors hanging from underdash and the car will not turn over. (all acc. work -I thought the key "chip" was n.g but tried the 2nd key with same results.) Will check clutch switch 11/25/05 -Any thoughts here appreciated Again I will post pics and details ASAP in tech forum

It will pay off for you to get the complete service manual for this car, so go ahead and get one now. I think Eckler's sells them: I'd start looking with them. It should cost about $300 but is worth it. Bewre they are big (the manual for my 02 is 3 volumes that total nearly 9 inches thick).

Once I had the manuals, and the complete, detailed wiring diagrams, I'd just temporarily bypass on the clips, etc., and essentially "hot wire" the car to start This assumes you have done all the things you should to a non-runner that has been sitting awhile: check to see it has oil in the sump (and only oil- no water) fluid in the radiator, that the plugs look good, etc.

itOnce you get the engine to run you can them backtrack clutch switches and all manner of stuff to check what's what. No use doing that 'til you know it will start.
