Hello everyone. I recently drove a c6 z51, and I absolutely loved it. So needless to say, i'm out to purchase one. I called a dealer well known for selling lots of used corvettes, since I will be trading in my car.

So, I was hoping someone could fill me in on what to avoid or look for when buying a used C6. I plan to do my research, but the dealer seems to think he'll have the perfect car for me within a week...which doesn't leave me much time..

i'm looking for a c6 with:
z51 package
6 speed stick shift

Any common issues with the c6 that has those options?

I've heard stay away from the 2005MY?

Anything else I should be aware of with the c6 in general?

I really appreciate any helpful input.
