i have a 1984 corvette that has been parked for over 1 year, does anyone know around how much it will cost to rebuild the motor on it, i know it's around 1,500 for the tranny, i think i may sell it for $2500.00 as is if not and purchase another corvette

 

iwould need some more info on your vette before that decision. but if you need a rebuild on a 84 and can still get 2,500 most would say sell and upgrade. market sucks for selling c4's i have a real nice 85 and cant get a call at 7-8 grand.

 

I don't understand what it is about C4's. eggbutts car is beautiful and I would think he could have gotten his price by now. [&o]
Around 2500 for an engine rebuild. If you must, sell it. 2500 is cheep by my standards though.

 

Kinda low...But if you must sell then you have to take what you can get for it...Hope it works out for you.
