Hello all-

Well I bought a 98 vette last month and there was a lot errors check engine light etc... The guy who sold it was fed up I guess so I bought it with the intention of working on it little by little and started reading this forum.. One of the posts suggested disconnecting the negative bat cable to reset everything.. Well I did that and wahLAh all errors are gone!!

The vette had performed very sluggish when I bought and NOW I CAN FEEL A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN ALMOST EVERYTHING. It's as though the computer and all sensors were all screwed up and malfunctioning..whatever happend the reset worked! MORE POWER, BETTER HANDLING it's like a gift on valentine day!! It's not even performance tuned yet and I love how it feels!! I'm very excited..

Right now the thing that's most irratation is the catalytic converters.. they make a rattling sound at a certain RPM. Anyone know where I can get a good deal on some cats? Do universals work OK? any advice appreciated.
