new corvette purchase
I am negotiating a deal for either an '07 or '08 2LT with identical and low miles on both. I would like to know what owners' experiences have been with the driving comfort of these lovely cars on long trips (300+ miles). Any feedback would be most welcomed. Thanks.

Don't have any experience with the C6 so unfortunately I can't comment there.
But welcome to the site, Some will reply, of this I'm certain. Good luck and I'm sure you'll be happy with either. Cheers.

Driving comfort!
My choice would be to 08 only because it's newer. We own a C-3 and have driven from Charlotte to Boston, to Memphis to Florida to Bama to NYC and on a long trip the only question is 'Are we there yet?' 300 miles is about 5 hours and for me thats enough time in any car. My wife drives very well and very fast so we have made some trips non-stop, but after that we were glad to be there.
Where are you planing to go? PG.

RE: Driving comfort!
I've made countless trips in the C4 of 6 hrs or better. It is comfortable and fun so I can only imagine the newer Vettes are better.
PG, you've been past my house atleat twice. Stop by next time and we'll grill some Beef steaks or venison. If it's after next month, maybe even some wild turkey. Cheers.

RE: Driving comfort!
My Pops just bought an 08 LT3 w/ the Z51 package. Its pretty much the baddest Vette you can buy thats under the Z06 and ZR-1.
The thing hauls, he just broke it in last week... once the butterflys open up the exhaust roars.
Its been a long time since I rode in something bad enough to make me clench my cheeks
But anyway it goes man, it dont matter if its a '55 or an '09, a Vette is a Vette
