I just purchased a 2001 z-06 my first corvette in 30 years. So far i'm very pleased with the car although i have some questions. One of which is it normal to hear some gear whine from what i believe is either the diff or the transmission.

IIRC, gear noise was a no-cost option back then. Might post in the C5 section for more info as this is just the New Member area.
