Great forum lots of good info, I am new to the Corvette world, always wanted one. Got a 1993 40th anniversary, 90K miles, pretty good shape paid $6,500.00. Seems to have typical problems radio ant., CD player, seat controls are kinda funky, and one head light needs a little love on the gear. Body is great and motor runs killer except for at idle, at a stop light it feels as though it has a small miss, I always turn down the radio afraid to is going to die, never has but....
Previous owner changed the water pump I have changed plugs, fuel filter, brakes, belt, ran some lucas fuel treatment for the injectors. What are signs of that Opti-Spark going out? And did I do OK on price??

Price seems okay. Some of the syptoms of the opti dying are: sputtering (especially at higher RPM), missing, the car can/will get harder and harder to start until it will not start at all. Some of these syptoms can be random and some be constant.
