Hello All.

Placed my order September 4th. Dealer had one allocation available which he placed on Thursday the 7th with no constraints. Fortunately I did not order the Polished wheels which I was told would probably be on constraint and were in fact.

Specs:
1YY07 -- Corvette Coupe
Exterior Color: Monterey Red
Trim: Cashmere Leather with Ebony Accents
Package 3LT
Transmission MX0 Automatic.
F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control
QX3 - Wheels Chrome
US9 Sound System

According to the dealer, delivery could be anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks. He indicated that pre-orders tend to go to the "Head of the Line" above orders placed for the showroom floor. I visited Conti's Corvette site and he indicates that orders he placed on 9/7/2006 should be delivered in late September to early October. Sure would be nice to get it in that time-frame.

Any comments relative to recent delivery experiences or general comments regarding delivery would be appreciated.

welcome aboard,my wife and i saw an '06 MONTEREY RED car at a local show recently.it totally blew us away and she still mentions it whenever vettes come up in conversation...enjoy.......

Yes, this will be my first Vette. My son has an 05 and convinced me to purchase a new 07.
Traded in an 03' white 350Z; nice looking car, but not enough wind in its sail's.

Got a TPW of 10/2 and currently at status 3100. The Monterey Red is really a beautiful color.

Truth be told if they offered that color for the Z06 I would have gone with it. Dealer here has one
black Z06 unit on the floor at $77K MSRP with a "Dealer Adjustment" of $20K. He sold one last month
with that markup and says he'll have no trouble moving this one at the same price.

I agree with him about the markup. The dealer my buddy works at has a new z06 marked up to 98 k and has had no trouble moving them in the past around that price.
