If you're testing with the car running the voltage drop is what the car is using.. since that is an internally regulated alternator remove it and have it tested. I have gotten bad ones before.
Good luck, keep us posted.

I will remove it and have it tested. I was also going to see if there is some parasitic draw some where? the car has been through a lot lately it all started with a dropped valve and then engine rebuild and up grade to stage 2 but before all that I do remember having charging/electrical issues after I put a new head unit in? hmm that's got me thinking about something else. anyway thank you Harley I will let you know what I find out.

The parasitic draw would leave you with a dead battery after a few days. Your alternator should put out more than 100 amps. Nominal voltage when running should be between 13.6 and 14.8 volts. If your battery is low it could be a little higher. Test at about 2000 rpm. Good luck!

hi Harley thanks for help. so today i was able to get the alternator charging at 15 but back at the battery like 12? how come its not getting the same at the battery? i was thinking maybe i have the wires mixed up? its a oem Bosch alt 140 amps and i have four wires one goes nowhere then red/white then grey then orange. the red/white goes to fuze box, the grey goes to the ecm? and the orange goes to starter? is that correct? i don't see any blown fuzes and the grounds are good so its weird no? **** i hate electrical ****! appreciate you man.
