Hi everyone, I just joined the forum and was a lurker before. I had a 2013 Corvette GS 4LT with 6MT until 2 weeks ago (see first picture below). I purchased it new from Davidson Chevrolet in Watertown NY in the summer of 2013. It was a great car but I found a deal I couldn't pass up.
Dublin Chevrolet in Dublin, GA had a 2017 Corvette GS 2LT with less than 1000 miles on the odometer. The price was right for the 2017, which is VERY well equipped, and they gave me what I asked for on my trade (the 2013 with only 14500 miles).
I am already in love with the new to me 2017 Corvette. I thought that the automatic transmission in the new car would be a disappointment, but I am a believer in modern automatics now. Also, my commute is much easier without clutching all the time in stop and go traffic, so I'll drive this one more often.
I am considering removing the white stripe and, if anyone has advice on how best to do this, please let me know.
I had Kook's headers and high-flow catalytic converters with x-pipe on my 2013. I will probably add that same hardware to this car eventually as I miss the louder rumble/crackle I had in that car.
