Hello all,new to this forum, used to be a C3VR'r years ago but dropped out due to a lack of time. Owned classic cars all my life but have had a vette for about the last five years. Ok, here are the particulars: 1969 350/350hp 4spd convertible. Texas car with matching numbers, mostly unrestored except original engine has been turned into an LT-1. Lots of fun but I have to run 30% race fuel to keep it happy. As a bonus it has a super unusual color combo, Cortez Silver with a Gunmetal Gray interior, with working A/C. As for me, I do almost all my own work and have a respectable level of knowledge and experience so I'll be happy to contribute when Ican findtime. Rick.

Welcome. I love silver 'vettes. They were pretty rare in the 60s.

Hi Ricknhis69 I been here for a short while There is so much knowlege to be gather from this Site
I Copy some of it to Note pad and store in a folder Name My Corvette.
I have a 73 Stingray while the Name might Sound Good,What i really have is a stript down version
of what a Corvett started out to be.
Now ive had the car every since it was new.and i guess it's taken me this long to do something about it.
Iam starting at the Back End and moving up.About 10 years ago or longer i was driving it and i notice
the rear end would swing when ever i hit a small slant in the road serface. The Car has been Park for
most of the time since ive own it.It only have an original 53 thousand miles on it i brought it in 1973
with 9 thousand miles on it.Ive already purchase the Bushings, and Stunt rods they are the adjustable kind
and heavierthan the Originals,My Trailing bushings are detoriated.
Iam now at a place where i can use some input.
I want more horse power, right now the spring is removed and iam looking a the 3rd member I want to
bring the car up to about 400hp,How would a 373 rear hook up with a 4 Speed transmission pushing
400 hp.or do you think i can get by with the Rear end that I already have. Please give me your Input
Thanks Hester
