Thanks for the welcome. The color is just a shade darker than the original. It was restoredlate 85, but it still looks awesome with no signs of fatigue in the FG. The Color is "Med. Metallic Red" from an early production run of an 86' camaro.
My wife worked for an Attorney for several years and he was the owner of this Vette. He passed away in 2004 and I have been waiting for his wife todecide to sell. Finally! My patience paid off.
The Targa Band was originally purchased in1985 along with the rear rack, Spoke Wheels, and spinners which was purchased from Corvette America. From my understanding the Targa Band was founded for California Vette's. In addition, All the numbers match on the drive train and engine (L-82/4-speed w/66k miles); however, it has a modified light kit and an 80-82 front and rear bumpers. It drives like a new one. He also replaced the rear spring with a fiberglass 340lb. It really rides nice for a 74.
I would like to change the mufflers. They are way to quite for a car such as this. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would like to have a deep muscle car tone.
