Hello, I'm a long time chevy fan/owner, well i'm 32 so "long time" is a relative term. I have a 67 coupe, 427/390, 4 speed, Marina Blue. 3rd owner, sort of. My dad bought it in 1969 for $3000 and drove it as his everyday car, and stopped driving it not to long after i was born. It's been sitting in the barn since. Since he thinks he's not going to do anything with it, and i'm currently restoring an X55 69 Camaro SS 350, he's decided i'm a worthy chevy fan, and has passed the car to me[8D]. Almost every thing is originall including the mufflers and the 2 front red wall tires. The only thing not #'s matching is the carb. The original owner took off the 3811 and put on a 650 double pumper. He left the 3811 with the car when he sold it to my dad, but over the years he has lost it. So some time in the future i'll be looking for a probably 3rd week in march 3811, since the block is stamped march 23rd. The car needs a full resto, but everything is there. I will need a new drivers side mirror, carb, and the steering wheel has that crack at the bottom. I probably won't be able to restore it for a couple years, got to finish my house and SS first, but i figured i'd join a couple forums to get some info, and such. thanks

Welcome to CF, Karl!

Will it never end? [&:]
You're not even done with the Camero, and your Dad, of all people, dumps a '67 Vette in your lap. [&o]
How sad!

I love to hear of when a Vette ispassed down. Ya can always build 'em up again.
