Hello All,

I am a new member to the forum - I have a 1973 coupe that has been in the family for many years. I worked on the car with my father, and now my kids help me wrench on the car.

It has an aftermarket small block 402, stock four speed, and I just put a set of 308's in the rear end. I had 411's before and was out of engine at 80MPH - not too fun on the freeway. Now I can cruise along at 75 with traffic at around 2500rpm.

The car Hooker headers and side pipes so it is really loud, which I like. I have never heard a car roar at full throttle like this one does!

The interior is in process. I have completed the carpets, seats, and will be working on the dash soon.

The car needs paint - I am currently "interviewing" shops in the area to do the job.

Welcome aboard. Great car. I just purchased a '73 Coupe myself and look forward to building it this winter. it's a 454 4 speed with legburners too. can't wait to drive it. again, great car and welcome to the forums. lota great people here. cheers

Nice looking ride....Side pipes are cool!! I remember looking at a '68 (or so) that had side pipes. Can't beat the sound. My Harley has side "slash cuts". They sound great at WOT...
