Just wanted to say hello to all of you. I live right outside Charlotte. I don't have a Corvette as of now but (one) day I will. Still trying to figure out how to talk the wife into that one. I do drive a convertible SS Camaro. It's a fun car to drive and has had a few mods do to it. Still looking to go with a bigger cam. Anyhow looking forward to learning some things over here.
Here's pics of my car.

Next to a Vette, the almighty Camaro walks on water in my books. We had a 97 triple black 'vert a few years ago, it was a stunning stunning car. Lost it one morning on the way to work when some jerk did an illegal move in front of me and I had no time to react. That car saved my life, no doubt... anyways, yours is totally awesome!!! Keep the dream alive, my friend, it will come to you in due time.... [8D]

We live in in the country on the edge of Cary, SW of Raleigh, probably about 90 minute drive from your location.
We sometimes race on tracks down near Charlotte or Columbus, and we go to Maxton sometimes.

Thanks guys for the welcome and the compliments on the car. I prolly could of gotten a Vette by now with all the money I've sunk into this car but I just look at it everyday knowing it's about a one of a kind SS with the color combo and options and then I take it for a drive and the vette worries go away (for now lol) When I get this paid off I will find a 02 Z06 and maybe add it to the garage.
On a side note I drove my buddies 98 6 speed vette with 420rwhp and I gotta say that thing just moves. It's a night and day difference driving my tank compared to his car. Also I have a aftermarket shifter in my car and it feels nice and notchy but damn his shifter is tight and peercise. I almost couldn't shift it at first lol I think it's a Hurst Billet but not sure. Anyhow it was a blast to drive.
Later guys
PS hey Lee my Dad'd family grew up around Cary. My relatives have a kickass BBQ joint out there (somewhere). Been 15 years since I've been there since my grandparents passed on. My last name is Stephenson and the BBQ place is called Stephensons BBQ.
