Here's WAVING to you from a new member
Hi Folks, Just joined yesterday and oh the fun I've had reading the post. There is just something so unique about Corvette enthusiast. First let me tell you about our toys. Husband and I both are car enthusiast and that can snowball when both of you love cars. His hobby is mainly with the 57 Chevy bel airs. His toy is a 57 Matador Red convertible. My toy is a 61 Roman Red Corvette, 283 with auto trans, owned her for about 25
years and drove this car almost daily for about 15 years. Bought an 84 Crossfire, and don't have a horror story at all about that car. I drove her for 160,000 miles and never one minute of trouble ever. Matter of fact, the guy that bought her did not even want to take it for a test drive before the handed me the money. First corvette we ever sold, and it was a great feeling to see him sitting so tall in that car with big ole smile on his face. We also have a 62 Roman Red Vet with a 4 speed transmission. My daily driver is a 1993 Aqua Metallic that I've owned since 93. I'm having just some slight tech problems and that's how I found this site, looking for help. I look so forward to spending time on this site, learning all I can from you good folk. Don't mind sharing that I'm not a spring chick. My mother is almost 90 and she and I are always driving around in corvettes. I'm not that far behind her in years but have always loved driving those cars. So if you pass a little ole lady on the road in her corvette, give her a huge wave because she is having the time of her life driving that car. Look forward to hanging out here with all of you wonderful folks.
