Default New Vette owner

Just got mine 3 days ago. I've been looking for about 9 months-mostly used, but found a "deal" on a "new" one that I couldn't pass up. Did I get as good a deal as I think ?

2007 black convertible
6-speed Z-51 package
Lt3 series black interior
chrome wheels
automatic top
6 disk cd changer
xm, on-star, mp3
343 miles......$ 54,800.

Also should i opt for extended warranty ?
anything I should know about this new c6 ( ie. pitfalls, secrets , tricks of the trade, care of my new baby???)

I paid a lil more than that for mine...it's auto w/paddle shift, most all else same as yours but I do have the nav sys & maybe some other things. We got a $5K discount buying fleet & mine was still more, so it sounds like a good deal to me...don't forget to wave!

Welcome.

Dealers love to offer extended warranty because they make a lot of money on it: the cost of the extended warranty is far more than the expected average payout. Overall, it is not the best deal. Also, if you mod your vette (common on this forum) you run the risk of not having the warranty honored.

DrDino52, Congratulations on your new toy. Black is a good choice, Write us back in a few day, after you've scared yourself,
Hay Doc, let me ask you, if cardiovascular exercise can prolong life by speeding up your heart, will driving my Vette faster make it last longer? PG
