Radio Antenna For '61
Hail Citizens-
We are freshening up our '61 Fuelie and one of the things that needs attention is the radio antenna. It currently has a broken off antenna stub mounted on the right front fender. I doubt that any of the parts are original and it's clearly been mounted in the wrong place. I intend to move it to the correct stock position at left rear position. I see that Corvette Central and Paragon offer replacements antenna parts but there appears to be some question whether these antenna are correct for the year or not. I'm not overly concerned with minor discrepancies since I won't be showing the car but I would like to better understand what parts are needed to add the antenna. Does anyone sell it as a whole kit including the cable, trim pieces and anything else that's needed to anchor the base of the antenna? I'm sure this has been addressed many times before on the Forum and I appreciate any help you can spare.
