Hello all,

I am completely new to Corvettes and Chevy's so be gentle. I have been looking at buying a '85 vette with 129k miles and would appreciate she advice. Some of the items I saw when I drove it were: oil on the engine, leaking exhaust (or the oil smoking), headlights not operating? (not sure if I had the correct switch!), possible bad alternator, driver/passenger seats look good (faded color), rear interior faded but good condition, cracked front windshield, body very good condition with minor paint damage no accidents on record. The seller only wants $1500, please let me know if this a good deal. I am aware this will require work but want to know how much I should plan on spending. Thank you in advance!
