This week as Idrove to Washington, Mo. from Dickson, TN., I passed several, 5, 'Vettes C3, C4, and 3 C6's. the only one that waved back was in southern ILL. and was a beautiful women in a beautiful Burgandy C6 drop top. the rest just looked as they went by.....snobs!

 

Have to admit...in N.E. Ohio...we're a friendly bunch...most wave..can even be parked..or gassing up,and have other owners stop to chat an compare "rides"....Luv bein a "vette" owner..lifes to short..smell the roses..lol

Here in OK, I get a wave-back about 50% of the time.

 

I was at a small town parade this past weekend. There was one Vette, '63 split window, really nice car.
They weren't waving to the crowd. I stepped up where they could see me, wearing my C3 Corvette hat and hollered, "Vette owners are suposed to wave", the driver and his wife started waving wildly and contiued waving to the end of the street. Sometimes it just takes a little propting, but it catches on.

 

Starship, thats the way to do it......Hell with political correctness, bunch of pinky lifters just need to get real. Keep'em straight.

 

There was also a healthy '67 SS Chevelle, '62 Nova with a BIG Blown somethin' really radical. (sounded like a BB) and a Really nice '68 "Stang", the owner of which I know personally. We're always trading "comments" on the Vette vs. Mustang issue. (his son owns the '67 SS. You otta here them go round and round)

I get the "WAVE" and the "NOD" from all vette owners here in cali....
