How much Christmas $$$$ will you spend?
Not trying to be nosy or one uppity about this. In light of our current economic situation I am interested in learning if you will spend more, less or about the same this year.
I have already spent in excess of $500 and have barely scratched the top of my list.
I will spend more this year than last year.
Best wishes to all for a safe, happy and healthy Holiday Season!

RE: How much Christmas $$$$ will you spend?
Well, I tried to vote but got an "internet service error" when I did. Have no idea what that means.
Anyway, I'll spend well over $1,000. I have three sons (all married or the equivalent in long term relationship) and one grandchild, numerous good friends, a wife, and myself: if I added up what I spent it might be, oh, four grand or something probably much more.
But as to me and my wife. I will get her some jewelry and a new master bathroom she wants, I have asked all relatives and friends, in all seriousness, not give me no gifts, just because I don't need or want anything (I'm lucky enough to buy it for myself), but to instead give to the local food bank.

Sorry, the polls still aren't functioning. [&o]
IF, I can find what I want, that is not made in China or some other 'scrap product' producer, I might go a few hun. My wife and I treat each other throughout the year.
Already had to return defective products from China. [:@]

Yeah, I tried to vote and it bonked too. I just celebrated my 50th so I treated myself to a 5 speed overdrive for the "Vette, but other than that I am keeping it pretty low key. I do not have a lot of people on my list so it makes things a lot simpler and more economical.
