I have my own, a '76 KW, 350 Cummins, 13 sp Road Ranger, 4700 Gal., 500 gpm, and 5 sprays. I work wild fire support and construction.
Ya, the grass does look greener "over there".
What's a raise? What's A/C?

Haha, sure Anytime! If you guys want jobs, im sure your wives would appreciate you all taking major pay cuts lol. I started off at 10 bucks an hour. But, 2 years into it, im making well over that so i am happy. And i am already about to advance in another 6-8 months and they are going to buy me a company work truck (i wont have to use my own gas anymore!! YAY!!) and give me a free cell phone and AT LEAST a 2 dollar raise. So, i should be set when i get there. The only problem is, i am tired of working for other people and making them more money. I want to be the one with people working for him making him more money!!!!! I bet everyone in the world wishes that though and only few succeed at it.

! I am going to the place that worked on my car tomorrow to b**ch and complain to them that they are the scum of the earth and that they are the biggest idiots in the world! I have oil in my spark plug holes. It isnt coming from the valve covers so it has to be coming from inside the block. If thats the case, then SOME IDIOT put it back together wrong or something broke that shouldnt have broken. And i havent had the thing over 70 since ive had it back. I dont "gun it" at the lights, i dont rev my engine for no reason, i basically have babied the engine since i got it rebuilt and there is ABSOLUTELY no reason why this should be happening. So, anyway, im done complaining. I will talk to you guys later.Matt

What the hell were those guys smokin' before they started to wrench on your car??? I just can't believe what I just read here.... man, dude, you might even have a legal issue here on your side. I saw in that other thread that you are now working with a real Vette mechanic? I hope so, bro. This makes me incredibly angry for you, that you've gone through all this... not to mention the TIME it all took! Just to get it back in that condition....
I do not like lawyers and suing people etc. I hate to fight with people, but seriously Matt.... this has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous in no time flat. I wish I could do something to help you from here..... [&o] I guess the only thing I can suggest is do not take no for an answer....

I found out from the Corvette Specialist i took it to, that either their prices are VERY high... or they charged me about an extra $2000 for the rebuild! That doesnt sound liek customer satisfaction to me.
