There is a car/motor powered vehicles show on Saturday, June 14, 2008,
at my workplace, BAE Systems, at 1205 Coleman Ave. in Santa Clara.
The show, the 13th Annual Motorfest, is being put on by the Society of
Automotive Engineers' (SAE) Mid-California Section and all proceeds go
toward the Books Aloud charity. For more information and

The cost to enter in as many vehicles/toys as you want is $25. The
cost to just check out all the nice rides on display is absolutely
free. Here is just a sample of what will be on display:

Classic cars
Muscle cars
Race cars
Trucks of all kinds
Military vehicles including M2 Bradleys and tanks
Hot rods

You name it!

Details about the event are on the link above. The show hours on
6-14-08 are from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The atmosphere is very laid back
and easy going, so please show off your Corvette or stop on by and
check it out.

This may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to display your Corvette
next to an M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle. I'm going to try to
take a photo of my 1964 Sting Ray coupe next to one.
