So, my brother in law bought a 2017 mustang gt and said it will beat a vette, didn’t say which one and now he said he is going to put an after market kit in it to make it 500 hp? If he thinks it can beat a vette, why would he need a kit. Also can’t you put a kit in a vette and make it faster too?...

 

Yes you can mod a vette and in fact, here in Phoenix, we have Cordes Performance Racing and he routinely builds streetable vettes with over 1000HP.

 

I raced a 5.0 up a hill. I suspect it was 2015+ and it had exhaust. I pulled 20 feet on them and at the time i was all stock. They are heavy cars I think.
